Edrom Lodge is situated in a prime fishing and beauty spot within East Boyd State Forest on the far south coast of NSW. The Lodge is approximately 35km south of Eden overlooking Twofold Bay with the ability to see right back to Eden and the mountains beyond.
Built between 1910 and 1913 as a family residence, Edrom Lodge is now under long term lease. It is managed by your hosts Brian Humphreys & Christine Taylor and is available for conference, education and group activities
A monumental example of the Federation Arts and Crafts style of architecture. The house exhibits many characteristics of the style including interiors with high quality workmanship. The impressive setting on a peninsula on Twofold Bay and historic associations with the original owner J Logan add to its significance. The site is also of historical significance as the base for Benjamin Boyd’s activities at East Boyd, the manager’s house, occupied by Oswald Brierly, being sited in what is now the front garden of Edrom.
